Hello, my dear students, how are you?
Hoy vamos a retomar el tema "there is/ there are" para aprender cómo responder ante oraciones interrogativas. Pongan la fecha en la carpeta, y de título "There is- there are: how to answer". Copien la siguiente explicación:
Por ejemplo, si yo tengo la siguiente pregunta: Is there a computer in your bedroom? (¿hay una computadora en tu dormitorio?), voy a responder Yes, there is o No, there isn´t.
Y si tengo la siguiente: Are there three books on the table? (¿hay tres libros sobre la mesa?) Responderé Yes, there are o No, there aren´t.
Les dejo las siguientes preguntas para responder (pongan ambas opciones, si y no, para automatizar cómo responder en cada caso. Luego aprenderemos a agregar información en caso de tener que corregirla). También lo copian en la carpeta:
1) Is there a big window in your bedroom?
2) Are there many (muchos/muchas) shoes in that cupboard (armario)?
3) Are there two bathrooms in your house?
4) Is there a refrigerator in your kitchen?
5) Is there one dog or cat in your house?
6) Are there three notebooks on the desk?
7) Are there lots of (un montón de) candies in that jar?
8) Is there any (algún, alguno/a) pencil into the pencil case?
9) Are there any tomatoes at home?
10) Is there a tablet in your house?
- Además, les pido que repasen algunas de las preposiciones de lugar que vimos en los videos:
In- on- under- into- between
Y completen con la preposición correcta las siguientes oraciones (puede pasar que más de una sea la correcta, traten de elegir la que piensen que mejor se ajusta)
1) The car is ......... the doll and the ball.
2) My cat is .......... the table.
3) The computer is ....... the desk.
4) The pencil case is ......... the schoolbag.
5) The pen is .......the pencil case.
El jueves subiré las respuestas correctas. No es necesario que me manden nada hecho, aunque por supuesto, el que quiera o necesite hacerlo, así como consultarme cualquier cosa, puede escribirme y mandarme lo que quiera!
